Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Director of Sales to join our exceptional team, help us continue our rapid growth, and create a better way forward for our customers. In this position on our Sales team, you will have an opportunity to own customer acquisition, activation and engagement for Fundbox and be a strategic thought partner to peers across the organization. You’ll also be in a position to build and manage high performing teams and drive professional development and growth of those teams. 

In this role, you will

  • Own customer acquisition, activation and engagement for Fundbox
  • Partner with the CRO and Sr Director, Revenue Operations, to craft a strategy for the teams’ efforts, and build processes to support that strategy including outbound cadence timelines, outreach prioritization, and campaign support
  • Hire, train and manage a team of Reps, Team Leads and eventually Managers across outbound sales, onboarding, new product launch and account management teams 
  • Manage team performance to maximize results while placing strong emphasis on each employee’s professional development and growth
  • Leverage data driven analysis and existing and new technology systems to continually improve customer acquisition and conversion rates, team efficiency, and the customer experience
  • Be a strategic thought partner to your peers in other departments such as credit, marketing and product, providing prioritized customer feedback and sharing insights to drive outcomes for Fundbox. 
  • Be a self-starter identifying opportunities to improve the team’s performance and acting on these opportunities

You should have

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in inside sales environments
  • 5+ years of management experience with a track record of success coaching and developing teams
  • Experience at a fast growing technology company a plus
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills 
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with process implementation 
  • Highly empathetic, performance driven and customer-centric
  • Track record of collaboration and success working cross-functionally
