We’re looking for a talented Sr Product Strategy Analyst to join our exceptional team, help us continue our rapid growth, and create a better way forward for our customers. The Product & Credit Strategy team at Fundbox is responsible for creating new products and delving deeply into various aspects of credit, including product requirements, underwriting, pricing, loan performance, and collections. This team also bears direct responsibility for program-level profit and loss. In this role, you will have the chance to significantly influence the development of new products and features as well as deliver recommendations that deliver substantial business value.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven ability in a quantitative analytics, technical product manager, or consulting role OR 1+ years of experience in a credit or product analytics or strategy roles at a financial services, fintech firm, or bank
  • Experience pulling and joining large data sets with SQL and performing analysis using tools such as Python, Excel, and Tableau
  • Strong social skills and experience collaborating on cross-functional projects with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort in delivering presentations and leading meetings with high priority strategic audiences, including executives outside of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver insights clearly and succinctly to executive leadership
  • Ability to work with ambiguous problems, deconstructing it into tangible steps, and working towards an impactful solution
  • Experience managing multiple work streams and prioritizing projects of varying size and complexity
  • The flexibility and curiosity to understand topics and concepts outside of your domain
  • BS / MS in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and iterations.
  • Contribute to building the product roadmap, determining product strategy, and creating go-to-market plans around new and existing capabilities with the opportunity to bring new products and features from 0 to 1 independently.
  • Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions about product features, enhancements, and priorities.
  • Translate business goals and product strategy into clear requirements for engineering. Manage execution through the product development cycle through delivery and implementation.
  • Engage with partners to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Perform credit analysis to develop recommendations that improve new customer underwriting (approve/decline, credit line assignment, and pricing) and customer management strategies (credit line increase/decrease, retention, repricing etc.)

Compensation & Benefits
We anticipate the US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $165,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the amount the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors (i.e. job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training). The compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits.
