We’re looking for a talented Capital Markets Analyst / Associate to join our exceptional team, help us continue our rapid growth, and create a better way forward for our customers. In this position on our Finance team, you will report to the Head of Capital Markets and will be a key member of the capital markets team. As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will work closely with our credit funding strategy and corporate development efforts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or engineering
  • 1-4 years of experience in structured credit or finance, preferably at an investment bank, fund, or startup
  • Exposure to structured finance transactions, including securitizations, warehouses and/or whole loan sales / forward flow, preferred
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills, including written and oral communication
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems in an often ambiguous work environment
  • Experience with advanced Excel, SQL and/or Tableau required

Responsibilities

  • Work with the capital markets team to evaluate funding options and build relationships in order to support Fundbox’s growth
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization (product, legal, engineering, finance, credit) to help with new product ideation, M&A opportunities, implement operational requirements of transactions and otherwise support capital markets initiatives
  • Assist in the execution of new credit facilities and securitizations through management of due diligence processes, legal review, modeling, and ad hoc analyses
  • Perform ongoing reporting for existing and future credit facilities and enhance reporting automation and capabilities
  • Manage ongoing communications and information requests from existing and potential new counterparties, including investors, lenders and rating agencies

Compensation & Benefits
We anticipate the US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $120,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the amount the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors (i.e. job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training). The compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits.
