Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Sr. Business Analyst to join the Growth Marketing team at Fundbox. In this role, you will own the full agenda for multi-million dollar marketing channels including Direct Mail or Digital Marketing (e.g., Paid Search, Paid Social, Digital Display).  You will work closely with Media Operations, Credit Analytics, Data Science, and Tech to deploy SMB customer acquisition strategies at scale across multiple channels - optimizing program performance using cutting edge data, analytics, and technology.

In this role, you will

  • Deploy marketing strategies across Direct Mail and/or Digital Marketing channels (e.g., Paid Search, Paid Social, Digital Display)
  • Steward multi-million dollar marketing budgets, and ultimately be accountable for overall channel performance and growth
  • Analyze, measure, and monitor marketing channel performance and ROI (e.g., SQL, Python) to inform growth marketing strategy
  • Leverage data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Slides) to synthesize recommendations and present business proposals
  • Optimize channel performance by deploying Test & Learn strategies (copy, messaging, creative), segmentation strategies, and ROI-based decisioning 
  • Generate customer and prospect insights using both Fundbox and Small Business industry data, then fold them into our growth strategy
  • Operate in a fast paced, analytically minded team to ultimately play a key role in Fundbox’s growth journey

You should have

  • 2+ years of experience in a quantitative analytics and/or business strategy role 
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced technical skills - Excel and SQL required
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS / MS - quantitative disciplines (Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering / Finance or a related discipline)
  • Financial services experience
  • Experience in Digital Marketing, Direct Mail Marketing, or Web Analytics
  • Experience with modeling strategies
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
