Job description

The Senior Bookkeeper will be in charge of all bookkeeping aspects, and report to the Accounting Manager.

As part of working in a global high tech company, most of the work will be in English and with multi currency. 

The Senior Bookkeeper will also be working with the global accounting team, located in the US.

In this role, you will

  • Be in charge of the entire vendor process from invoice to payment, including credit cards. 
  • Take care of expense reports and employee travel reports
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of the company’s bank accounts, vendors and credit cards
  • Manage the process of fixed assets and depreciation
  • Verify properly recording of the prepaid expenses
  • Report to tax authorities on a monthly basis (VAT, Income Taxes)
  • Play a key role in the month end close. 
  • Work closely with outsource payroll consultant to assure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Manage intercompany charges and adjustments
  • Assemble information for external auditors as part of the audit process.
  • Support the accounting department ad hoc tasks 
  • Have the opportunity to take part in more complex and interesting projects we have in the team. 

You should have

  • Bookeeping certificate type 1 + 2 - a must, type - 3 advantage
  • 10+ years of experience working in a global company as a Bookkeeper. 
  • Out of which, at least 5 years of experience working as a sole bookkeeper.
  • AP experience is a must. 
  • Experience and knowledge of accounting ERP-Netsuite -  must
  • Stampli, Mesh & Expensify - Advanage 
  • English, at a high level - must (verbal and written)
  • Excel, good level- must
    Working with multi currency and english environment- must
  • Payroll experience- an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask 
  • Thoroughness, punctuality, high work ethics
