Fundbox Q1 Media Roundup: Checkout Launch, Latest Press Features

The first quarter of 2019 went by in a flash. To keep you updated on all things Fundbox, here’s a look at some of the launches and big media mentions we saw in the first months of the year.

Fundbox introduced Fundbox Checkout for B2B E-commerce

Recently, we announced the expansion of our rapidly-growing business capital platform with a new e-commerce checkout feature.

“Fundbox has a legacy of creating breakthrough solutions for businesses in the U.S.,” said Prashant Fuloria, COO of Fundbox. “With checkout capabilities for Fundbox Pay, customers now have more ways than ever to tap into their Fundbox credit, and partners have new ways to contextualize access to credit in their workflows. This marks our evolution from a product-centric company to a platform-centric company.”

Karen Webster, author and leading expert on emerging payments, interviewed Sebastian Rymarz, chief business officer for Fundbox, for PYMNTS. They discussed how faster digital credit can help SMBs thrive.

As Rymarz pointed out during the PYMNTS discussion, “Once a B2B buyer goes to make a purchase, there are so many different systems they are using,” and that “information needs to travel over to the supplier” via such different methods as email, physical mail and other means, according to how the supplier operates its network. Such complexity does not exist in the B2C world, “where you are basically purchasing a product and paying for it right there in person,” he said.

Fundbox Joined Spring Labs’ Founding Industry Program

Sixteen leading small business and consumer fintech firms, including Fundbox, announced a new partnership with Spring Labs to leverage blockchain to enhance ID verification capabilities and prevent fraud.

Fundbox Marketing Content Strategist Irene Malatesta appeared on the Small Business Edge podcast to talk with host Brian Moran, presenting What If, a Fundbox research project investigating female entrepreneurs and the gender credit gap.

Fundbox Included in Women’s History Month Resource List

Small business expert and author Rieva Lesonsky put together an impressive mega-list of useful and educational resources for Women’s History Month, including several of Fundbox’s free resources for business owners.
