We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Engineering to establish and lead our new engineering team in New York. This is a unique opportunity to build a high-performing group from the ground up, shape the site culture, and collaborate closely with global peers. You’ll be both a technical mentor and a people leader, helping deliver mission-critical software in the fintech space.

Requirements
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years leading a team of engineers.
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
Strong technical background; you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
Working knowledge or our tech stack - Python, AWS, Redis, MySql, RabbitMQ, Microservices architecture and Object Oriented Programing (OOP).
Experience in fintech or other regulated, high-availability industries is a big plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills—especially across time zones and cultures.
Passion for team building, talent development, and fostering innovation.

We anticipate the NY base salary range for this full-time position is $260,000 - $300,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the amount the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors (i.e. job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training). The compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits.
